  Dr. Lori Schwartz Reichl

is the visionary thought leader of Making Key Changes. She is a champion of mentorship and motivation. As an author, educator, and podcaster, she is a sought-after motivational speaker and consultant. Her most popular talks include:

Lori’s career began in music education where she learned the importance of a key change  a shift in the tonal center of a piece of music, often used to inject energy or produce significance. She eventually realized the impact of making key changes in many areas of her life and the desire to help others do the same.

Since transitioning out of one classroom as a public school teacher, Lori has uniquely created a global classroom for her work. She motivates organizations, teams, and individuals to reflect on their daily practices by posing questions for reflection and offering actionable key changes to grow. Together, through energy and significance, they unlock their greatest potential in collaboration with those they love, serve, and lead.

Lori is a sought-after speaker. She delivers unique and reflective keynote speeches to inspire appreciation, collaboration, and creativity. In addition to hosting her own weekly podcast appropriately titled Making Key Changes, Lori has been interviewed for more than 20 podcasts as a guest speaker.

Learning Facilitator

Personal and professional development are the heart of Lori’s work. She has designed and presented hundreds of learning programs in the form of meaningful sessions, webinars, and courses based on her unique experiences. Drawing on her more than 100 authored articles, she utilizes these works as accompanying resources.

Thought Partner

Lori meets regularly, both in-person and virtually, with organizations, teams, and individuals to facilitate key changes in their communities, companies, classrooms, and careers. She listens, questions, guides, and offers actionable key changes to grow during these mentoring sessions.

Conductor & Clinician

Lori’s passion for music-making is still evident! Having guest-conducted more than 50 honor bands ranging from elementary to collegiate-level musicians, she enjoys invitations to conduct, clinic, and adjudicate bands of all ages, levels, and locations. She also maintains a private saxophone studio on Thursdays.
