Course 1

Refresh Your Teaching with Influence and Impact

 

Course Description:

Are you hoping to make key changes to refresh your teaching? This course is a creative mentorship and motivational approach intended to encourage reflection, inspiration, collaboration, creation, and ultimately – refreshment! The course is open to ALL subject areas and levels of teaching. 

Make key changes to refresh your teaching with influence and impact! Explore ways to create and maintain a shared vision in collaboration with those you serve and lead. Discover a successful plan to organize efficiently, instruct skillfully, manage behavior effectively, communicate clearly, and collaborate inclusively. Topics will include refreshing various parts of your teaching, including creating/updating a shared vision, mission statement, motto, handbook/syllabus, classroom management, routines, behavior plan, administrative support, recruitment/retention, collaborative opportunities, adjudication/assessment, organizational procedures, professional development, cultural diversity, and inclusivity. Come prepared to be mentored and motivated by your peers while offering mentorship to them, too! Course assignments are developed with the intention of immediate implementation in your classroom/program.

Motivation for the Seasoned Educator

 

Course Description:

Are you a seasoned educator considering making key changes in your teaching, career, and/or life? This course is a creative mentorship and motivational approach intended to encourage reflection, motivation, creativity, change, and leadership both personally and professionally. The course is open to ALL subject areas and levels of teaching. 

Make more key changes in both your personal and professional life! Discover ways to make simple and actionable key changes that unlock your greatest potential in collaboration with those you love, serve, or lead. Topics will include branding, burnout, creativity, leadership, relevancy, professional development, and transitions in both our personal and professional lives. Come prepared to be mentored and motivated by your peers while offering mentorship to them, too! Course assignments are developed with the intention of immediate implementation in your daily living and working routine. 

Course Meetings:

  • Earn 3 graduate credits.
  • ONLINE through Vandercook College of Music.
  • 6 summer meeting dates for 3 hours each day.

Mentoring Sessions

As a thought partner, Dr. Reichl meets regularly, both in-person and virtually, with organizations, teams, and individuals to facilitate key changes in their communities, companies, classrooms, and careers. Dr. Reichl listens, questions, guides, and offers actionable key changes during these mentoring sessions.
